Ralph Lauren is the latest in a growing line of designers who have decided to relocate their runways! According to WWD, Lauren will present his Fall 2017 see-now, buy-now show at his private garage located in Bedford, New York instead of at his usual New York Fashion Week stage.
The garage houses Ralph's awe-inspiring personal automobile collection, which will serve as the backdrop to the runway. One of the most expensive car collections in the world, the designer's array of rare motors include Ferraris, Bugattis, and Bentleys dating all the back to the '20s and '30s. Whoa.
This will also be the first time the American label is showing its Ralph Lauren Purple Label menswear collection alongside its womenswear!
Change is afoot, but we're not complaining—only excited for what the future holds. Good luck, Ralph!
