It’s no secret how much we look forward to Rajo Laurel’s new collection every season and his recent release surely did not disappoint. Drawing inspiration from one of the women who changed the fashion industry, he created a collection that is vibrant, fun, and always so flattering.
Before Anna Wintour, there was Diana Vreeland, a well-known fashion editor and journalist; she has always been remembered for her amazing eye for detail and of course, her quirky, unforgettable style.
In this season’s collection, aptly named Vreeland, the pieces featured are much softer when it comes to silhouette—think kaftans, draped dresses, and oversized ensembles—that being compared to his previous collection called Untitld, which was on the structured side. As for the color and prints used, Rajo focused on saturated hues, strong prints, and heavy embellishments, veering away from the minimalist look that he played with for his transitional collection—we say, a welcomed change that is most suitable for the holiday season.
