Last year’s Aid Couture, which was held at Alabang Town Center, turned out to be a huge success. It raked in as much as P600,000 in sales, which allowed Philippine Red Cross to purchase more urgent basic needs that were distributed to our countrymen who were affected by Typhoon Haiyan.
And now, Aid Couture is doing it again for its second year, with high hopes that we will beat last year’s numbers to help more of our people get back on their feet. Clothes donated to Philippine Red Cross were sorted, washed by Ariel, styled, and now ready to be purchased for a good cause. This year’s Team Aid Couture consists of Rajo Laurel, John Paras, Happy Andrada, and Vicky Herrera—they put together different looks that will be on display and be available for purchase. The selling event is scheduled on August 2 to 3, 2014 in the activity center of Glorietta in Makati and Market! Market! in Taguig starting at 10am.
Last weekend, Team Aid Couture already started preparing for the big selling event by styling the mannequins in advance. Want to take a peek as to what you’ll be seeing in Glorietta and Market! Market!? Scroll down!
We're eyeing that coverup worn backwards. Thanks for the brilliant idea, Rajo!
