After a fruitful run as Miss Universe Philippines 2020, Rabiya Mateo has at last taken her final walk.
The 24-year-old Ilongga beauty queen was crowned on October 25, 2020, and eventually got to hand over the title to Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City on the evening of September 30 in Hennan Resort Convention Center in Panglao, Bohol.
After expressing her thanks to her Rabiyanatics and countrymen who never stopped cheering her on, she took to the stage to gracefully bid farewell to her title, wearing a fully-beaded golden strapless gown with a sultry high slit.
Towards the end of her walk, Rabiya tripped on her gown, but she, a good sport, made light of the situation and elegantly regained her composure. We love her for it!
Later on, she donned a second gown for the coronation proper. She wore a regal white gown with intricate silver crystals and an ethereal cape.
She truly looked so stunning!
