The COVID-19 pandemic continues to take a toll on society, but numerous enterprises are stepping up to support everyone—from families to frontliners—in whatever way they can. Spanish bridal brand Pronovias, famous for its impeccable bridal gowns, just donated dresses to frontliners who are also brides-to-be. It was their way of honoring these modern heroes.
Pronovias dedicated an entire collection of designs, from which frontliners can choose "the one." Aptly named The Heroes Collection, the designs were curated by the brand’s artistic director, Alessandra Rinaudo, who describes these healthcare workers as “soldiers, unrelenting in their battle to heal the sick. It is an honor to show my support and raise awareness for all of these women doing their best to overcome this pandemic. Love will conquer all.”
The announcement was made last March 20, but the number of registrants poured in so quickly that the brand released a statement three days ago, saying that registration for The Heroes Collection is temporarily closed. Registration was initially supposed to end on August 31, 2020. No specific quantity of orders was mentioned in the news statement, but we reckon it must have been a tall order for them to suspend it so soon!
We admire the brand’s initiative to give back to these hero brides-to-be, as this will make their big day more memorable. Plus, a Pronovias gown will make them feel like the princesses they truly are!
The Heroes Collection was available in Pronovias flagship stores located in Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, United Kingdom, United States, and Mexico.
