While everyone on social media had a nostalgic 2007 meltdown over losing yet another Jonas brother to the married life, all eyes were on the lucky gal that snagged Nick Jonas' heart on their wedding day. Honestly though, after witnessing their publicized whirwind relationship turn into not one, but two fairytale weddings (with the couple celebrating both a Christian and Hindu ceremony) we can't help but think that Nick is actually the true lucky one here. I mean, did you see his bride?
Priyanka Chopra was a stunning beauty in a sheer laced highneck custom Ralph Lauren gown, making it one of the very few wedding dresses the designer has created in 50 years. "Ralph has only designed three wedding dresses in 50 years—one for his daughter, his daughter in law, and his niece,” Priyanka tells Elle Australia. “I was blown away.”
Beaded and embroidered by hand, the dress reportedly took 1826 hours to create, what with its strapless column dress underneath crafted out of a whopping 2,380,000 mother of pearl sequins. The dress also features floral and scroll motifs, lace effect tulle appliquès, and accented with scalloped sleeves. It doesn't stop there, though, because the real scene-stealer to Priyanka's look was an all-encompassing 75-feet-long veil covering half the aisle in a thin sheer blanket. Talk about an unforgettable bridal march.

But wait, there's more! According to People Magazine, Nick, in a Ralph Lauren tuxedo himself, honored his lovely wife by adding a small piece of lace from her dress to the inside of his lapel. Embroidered on the small piece of cloth are the words "My Jaan," which is Urdu for "My Life." Excuse us while we melt in the corner!
All giddiness aside, congratulations to the newlyweds on their new life together!
