If a name determines your lot in life, what kind of princess will the new royal be?

After much anticipation, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge named their newborn princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, or Princess Charlotte for short. While the Queen and the late Princess of Wales are legendary models of poise, grace, and style, she can also take some princess lessons from fellow members of the Charlotte Club, below:

1. Charlotte Casiraghi

Princess Lesson #1: Riding lessons

Beautiful, intelligent, influential, are just a few of the words to describe this outstanding lady. This classic beauty (like her maternal grandmother, Grace Kelly), is also a magazine editor and an advocate for sustainable fashion. She's also the face of Gucci's equestrian collection. Just FYI.

2. Charlotte Gainsbourg

 A.k.a. The Cool Charlotte

Daughter of Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg

Princess Lesson #2: Acting lessons

As the offspring of English and French cool, she was bound for It Girl status. Her personal style is fresh and insouciant, with just the right amount of bad-ass to make her a modern muse. And Princess, if you ever go for a theatrical direction one day, this chick's got award-winning acting chops.

Princess Lesson #3: Comportment

It's never a dull day with this Charlotte. She's optimistic and sweet, with the audacity to scream "I curse the day you were born." Essentially the most conservative character of the Sex and The City group, this girl goes by the book when it comes to relationships. And it's best to stay away from trouble, Princess.

4. Charlotte Rampling

Princess Lesson #4: Modeling school

With eyes that seduced the silver screen in the 60s, this English darling is truly iconic. Her subtle sexiness shows that she understands herself and knows when to leave some room for curiosity. I'm not telling you to go all liberal, Princess. But when you're older, a little mystery never hurt nobody.

Singer / Songwriter

Princess Lesson #5: Singing lessons

What's a club without the resident party girl? Fun is never overrated. And princesses are not an exception to that rule. Sing in the shower, dance while nobody's watching. Be fancy. Just try not to break anything in the palace.
