Princess Charlene of Monaco Wears a Filipina Designer at the Feast of Corpus Christi Ceremony

Filipino-blooded designer Monique Lhuillier continues to count both Hollywood stars and members of royal families among her clientele. Her designs have long appeared on figures across the British royal circle, and this week, another royal outing placed the spotlight on her work—this time in Monaco with none other than Princess Charlene.

On June 4, Princess Charlene joined Prince Albert II for Monaco’s annual Corpus Christi celebrations. The royal couple witnessed the traditional religious procession, which trickled through Monaco-Ville from the Prince’s Palace following a Mass at Monaco Cathedral.

The Feast of Corpus Christi is one of Monaco’s major religious observances. Following the service, the procession of the Blessed Sacrament made its way through the streets of the old town, passing through Palace Square and Town Hall Square before concluding with prayers and a blessing.

For the occasion, Princess Charlene plucked a piece from Monique Lhuillier’s Spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection. The midi-length piece featured a gathered neckline and cap sleeves, with an iris bouquet print blooming across the fabric. When seen in its full length, the silhouette skims the body before flaring gently toward the hem, creating fluid movement suited to the spring-season occasion.

The look reflects the broader direction of the Spring 2026 collection, which explores a more expressive take on femininity through floral motifs, sculptural shapes, and mixed textures.
