So, you're joining the Gucci gang. In case you've been saving up for some Gs of your own, you've probably already vetoed the numbers that you know aren't going to age as gracefully. Still unsure about which ones will? Here, we've rounded up six iconic options that'll stand the test of time. Most Iconic Gucci Bags and Their Prices:

1. Jackie, $1408 (approximately P71,217)

The elegant Jacqueline Kennedy, or Jackie O. as she was known in later life, was undoubtedly a style icon. In the era she presided over the White House as First Lady and wife to President John F. Kennedy, her wardrobe memorably consisted of prim tweed skirt suits, pillbox hats, ropes of pearls, and smart pumps. But after her husband's bewildering assasination in 1963, her restrained taste also took a historic turn. Withdrawing from the public eye and now favoring outfits that hid more than they highlighted, she grew famously partial to enormous, dark, round sunglasses and the looser, wide-leg silhouettes of the '70s. Call it an expression of freedom from her former life or simply personal growth—either way, her relaxed slash elusive new look quickly became equally symbolic. Here's where the Gucci Jackie came in.

The flat, half moon-shaped hobo bag fit in perfectly with her rebrand, and she was photographed holding it so often that the label proudly redubbed it after her. Legend has it that in 1964, she strolled into a Gucci boutique and bought not one, not two, but six of the purse. She liked it that much, and we reckon so will you. Frida Giannini's deconstructed, bamboo trimmed 2009 version swiftly nabbed the spotlight then; we're veeery patiently waiting for current Creative Director Alessandro Michele to whip out his own take.

2. Dionysus Mini, $1690 (approximately P85,480)

Janine Gutierrez's adorable mini Dionysus may have first taken the Insta-scene by storm in 2016, but you can't even argue that it still looks great four years down the line. A structured mini bag finished with its signature aged, silver-toned, textured tiger head spur closure, it's named for the mythological Greek god of wine and is representative of harmony between Gucci's old and new elements. Janine's taupe-trimmed pick, in particular, is made of beige and ebony GG Supreme canvas, a material with low environmental impact; still, feel free to make your choice from a vast array of colors and finishes. Might we suggest, perhaps, a sleek ivory? Or how about a heart-dotted Valentine's special?

3. Padlock, $1750 (approximately P88,515)

Owing to its demure, elegant, structured shape, the Gucci Padlock is a strong contender for fortitude in the face of constant change (and fashion's famously fickle heart). Stylish, always jetsettin' gals Lovi Poe and Nicole Andersson own it in two different sizes, so call the pair proof of its universal appeal! Its sliding, brilliant gold chain allows you to wear it crossbody or perched prettily on your shoulder, and, as if to balance out its inherent timelessness, it's yours to shop in a dizzying slew of ultra fun prints set against those iconic interlocking Gs. Choose from a spray of shimmering bees, cheeky red cartoon strawberriesblooms and Bengal tigers.

4. GG Marmont Flap, $1980 (approximately P100,148)

That telling V-streaked leather is, no doubt, instantly recognizable. The GG Marmont's softly structured shape and oversized flap closure remains desired for its relative roominess, casual cool vibe, and that coveted flash of antique gold-toned Double G hardware. The sliding chain strap can be worn multiple ways, allowing you to shift as you please between a shoulder res, a top handle, and a comfy crossbody. Made in luxe yet languid matelassé chevron leather and stitched with a kitschy-cute heart on the back, it's lined with suede-esque beige microfiber and looks especially great in off-kilter hues like Daryl Chang's fun, searing neon fuchsia.

5. 1955 Horsebit, $2300 (approximately P116,334)

A fresh face for Cruise 2020 loved by Anne Curtis and Lovi Poe, the 1955 Horsebit is recreated from an archival design. We're not kidding when we say this is the grand dame: With the same lines and forms first introduced over six decades ago, it unifies original details with an au courant spirit, highlighting the Italian label's telltale Horsebit (yep, that's what you call that distinguishing metal detail on your fave Princetown loafers). Part of Gucci’s genetic code, the double ring and bar has been established as one of the most distinctive elements among the house's symbols borrowed from the equestrian world. Presented via a satisfyingly small flap shoulder bag, the hardware is paired with beige and ebony GG Supreme monogram fabric and completed with a special mechanism that adjusts the length of the shoulder strap so it can be carried on one shoulder or cross body. Nothing beats vintage Gucci flavor, we honestly think.

6. Sylvie Chain Bag, $2400 (approximately P121,392)

We've been smitten with the Sylvie ever since mastermind Alessandro Michele sent it down the Milanese house's Spring-Summer 2016 catwalk in September 2015. Boasting of telltale Web striping and a chain detail streaked down its middle sans any of the brand's often-associated interlocking Gs, Sylvie feels old and new all at once—and it's beyond refreshing. It's structured and ladylike, but our favorite feature has got to be its interchangeable straps: You've got the usual chain option and a bi- or tri-color grosgrain ribbon that's yours to loop around, double up, or simply tie any which way you please. Be spoilt for choice the same way Kathryn Bernardo is.
