Preview Relives Coco Banana We celebrate this year's Best Dressed women in a disco shindig, seventies style!

Coco Banana was touted as the Studio 54 of the Philippines back in the day, and it was in this reimagined '70s setting where Preview celebrated its 2011 Best Dressed List: actresses Iza Calzado (who's also our July cover girl) and Mylene Dizon, Apple & Eve creative director Penny Ngu, jeweler Lucille Dizon, designers Camille Co and Charina Sarte, clothing retailer Keri Zamora, Havaianas' Anne Gonzales, model Pauline Prieto, and Break My Style's Laureen Uy. (Grab the July issue to know all about these ten ladies' individual style!)

THAT'S THE WAY (WE LIKE IT)

7th High was outfitted à la Coco Banana on July 8—complete with palm trees and real bananas!—and it was packed with the local fashion industry's movers and shakers, who boogied, did the hustle, and shook their groove thang in all sorts of disco-pop persuasions the entire night. Everybody was so excited about the party that even before we arrived at the venue, "Preview Ball" was already trending on Twitter!

NONE MEEK, C'EST CHIC

As expected, everybody dressed up for the seventies theme. Sequins and metallics shone all night, as seen on an all-glammed-up Anne Curtis, a catsuited Divine Lee and Cher-channeling Vice Ganda, and Preview's own Liz Uy and Daryl Chang. Diva dressing reigned that night, too—floor-length gowns in jewel tones and sexy silhouettes abounded, especially among the Best Dressed ladies. Also spotted in diva garb are Angel Locsin, Georgina Wilson, and Andi Eigenmann.

Other guests dressed up in signature '70s fashion: disco jumpsuits (Megan Young, KC Concepcion, and our own Isha Andaya-Valles) and psychedelic colors (Mich Dulce, Bubbles Paraiso, Maxene Magalona, Ruby Gan and Janina Dizon-Hoschka), while some accessorized with eye-catching turbans and floral headpieces—hi, Kate Torralba and Michelline Syjuco!

WE ARE (A FASHION) FAMILY

The ten Best Dressed ladies were introduced via a short film with vignettes representing each girl's style and personality. They were then called on stage by hosts Raymond Gutierrez and Georgina Wilson, and toasted by Preview EIC Pauline Juan. Afterwards, that night's Best Dressed Award was accorded to a feathery and flowery Isabelle Daza, who says she has always loved the hippie era, which crossed well over into the '70s.

WE LOVE THE NIGHTLIFE, WE GOT TO BOOGIE

The queenly performers from Club Mwah belted out tracks like "I Will Survive" to an eager crowd, and yet again it was time to drink and dance the night away. Pia Magalona, Divine Lee, and Charmaine Palermo were all caught dancing on stage with the Club Mwah follies, while designers John Herrera, Veejay Floresca, and Bo Parcon hammed it up on the dance floor with the crowd that swelled and swayed to DJ Mars Miranda's music.

Meanwhile, in the 7th High Lounge, party peeps had their photos taken as recuerdos at the Style Bible photo booth. The Lounge also soon became a celeb hangout, where Anne, Isabelle, and Georgina rested their feet and hung out with their beaus before dancing all over again.

In all, the disco shindig was a resounding success—a night to remember that would certainly be hard to beat.
