This year's Preview Ball was a star-studded affair in celebration of the Best Dressed List and the unveiling of our breathtaking September cover starring Julia Barretto. Additionally, it was also a love letter to the Filipino creatives who continue to propel the ever-dynamic local fashion industry to new heights. Apart from the Best Filipino Fashion Designers 2023 showcase, one of the main highlights of the event was the gathering of distinguished guests comprised of the makeup artists, hairstylists, photographers, models, fashion designers, stylists, art directors, and many other visionaries who are fundamentally the pillars of our community.

Naturally, an abundance of creative energy filled the grand ballroom of Manila Marriott Hotel, which reflected on our guests' own interpretation of the all-white theme. Fashion designers wore their own masterpieces, like Mich Dulce's instantly recognizable headpiece, Rosenthal Tee's high-slit gown, and Chris Nick's sharp tailored suit punctuated with a black bow. More notable looks were courtesy of Abraham Guardian and Mamuro Oki of ḢA.MÜ, with plenty of their signature ruffles and doodles adorning other guests' outfits as well.
Artist and Best Dressed honoree Isabel Santos showed off her sartorial prowess in a quirky dress from Novel, designed and sewed by BFFD awardee Prince Padilla. Meanwhile, Madge Reyes, founder of Fifth Wall and movement director for this month's cover shoot, carried with her a zany accessory: JW Anderson's pigeon clutch bag, which became a certified conversation-starter.
