“There is so much room in this world for everyone to shine,” Pia wrote in the comments of her latest Paris Fashion Week post.

Pia Wurtzbach has had enough of the online hate, and is standing up for women supporting women!

The beauty queen and rising fashion star is currently in the fashion capital of Paris, France, where she is attending her second season of Paris Fashion Week after her fashion week debut in Milan and Paris in October last year. And what a stellar first showing it was after Pia was revealed to have generated one of the highest media values for Milan Fashion Week!

Pia Wurtzbach Speaks Up on Hate Comments “Pitting Women Against Each Other” on Paris Fashion Week Post

This time around, Pia posted a reel on Instagram that captured the highlights of her first day, including arriving in the City of Lights and being invited to Dior’s Fall/Winter 2024-2025 show, and some goofy behind-the-scenes glimpses!

Fans were overjoyed to see Pia slaying her second Paris Fashion Week experience so far.

“The relatable queen you are,” one wrote.

“She’s Pia Wurtzbach Jauncey, everybody,” another praised.

However, the beauty queen was also bombarded with hate comments on her post, with some calling her a copycat and others alleging that she was not invited to all shows.

When Pia’s followers came quickly to her aid, the beauty queen immediately posted a response calling out the hatred that was festering in the comments section.

“Hey everyone! I’ve been seeing all these nasty comments, below-the-belt name-calling, and accusations aimed towards others. I think we all need to be reminded that this bickering, pitting women against each other, and pointing fingers isn’t right,” Pia wrote.

The beauty queen also asked people to stop fighting each other online, including her fans who may feel the need to defend her from ridicule.

“Please stop fighting. I want to ask everyone, my supporters especially, as I always did even years ago during my Binibini or Miss Universe days, please do not pull other people down, lest to defend me. That is not what I want. And that’s not what I stand for.”

Pia asked to respect everyone’s hard work in Paris Fashion Week, and reminded that there is room for others to shine and stand out.

“Let’s respect each other and the work being put in by everyone — and not ruin it just because people online can’t get along. There is so much room in this world for everyone to shine,” she said.

While Pia didn’t namedrop anyone, other comments on the thread mentioned Heart Evangelista, who is also attending Paris Fashion Week and has established herself as an international fashion powerhouse.

The journey to Paris Fashion Week hasn’t been an easy one for Pia. Her husband, Jeremy Jauncey, once shared that it took Pia three years to score an invite to Europe’s fashion scene, and that the beauty queen was once told that she’d “never make it to fashion weeks.”

Given that she’s proven her naysayers wrong and has continued to stay positive and supportive of other women, Pia’s a true queen indeed!
