Pia Wurtzbach-Jauncey is back to globe-trotting—this time, she's in Sicily, Italy for Bvlgari’s Polychroma High Jewelry event. As one of the maison’s newly minted ambassadors, the Miss Universe-turned-style icon brought her signature style to the exclusive showcase, joining a powerhouse guest list that included Priyanka Chopra and BLACKPINK’s Lisa. But one of the most talked-about moments of the evening? Her unexpected run-in with Queen of Tears star Kim Ji Won.

Pia Wurtzbach Shares a Moment with Kim Ji Won at Bvlgari’s Polychroma High Jewelry Event

Set against the dramatic cliffs and coastal views of Taormina, the Polychroma presentation was a celebration of diversity in its most luxurious form. True to its name—taken from the Greek words for “many” (poly) and “colors” (chroma)—the collection spotlighted over 600 high jewelry and high-end watch pieces, including the largest number of millionaire jewels ever shown by the Italian luxury fashion house.

Among the global muses invited were Priyanka Chopra and BLACKPINK’s Lisa. But what made headlines closer to home was Pia’s endearing fashion moment with Kim Ji Won. Captured sharing a laugh on the terrace, the two women struck a pose as they embodied the spirit of Polychroma in full technicolor.

Pia wore a sculpted yellow gown by Mark Bumgarner, complete with braided cord details that wrapped around her arms and hips like jewelry in motion, with her emerald and diamond Bvlgari necklace contrasting beautifully with her sunshine-bright dress.

Kim Ji Won, meanwhile, opted for a strapless green gown with sharp pleats and voluminous draping—a creation from Filipina designer Monique Lhuillier's S/S 2025 collection. Her soft updo teamed with a statement-making Bvlgari necklace brought out the playfulness in the otherwise classic silhouette.

Pia Wurtzbach was officially announced as a Bvlgari ambassador in early 2024, joining the brand’s global roster of influential women. Her appearance at Polychroma is one of her first major international events with the house.
