These Filipina style icons continue to make an impact on the international fashion scene.

Fashion week is like the World Cup of fashionistas. It's a glamorous, high-stakes event that happens in major cities around the world—except, it's a fashion show instead of a soccer game.

Influencer marketing platform Lefty recently released a report on the SS24 Womenswear Roundup, revealing the top influencers that made an impact at this year’s Fashion Weeks. In the report, they’ve named Southeast Asia the region to watch, with some of the highest EMV-generating personalities coming from Thailand, Indonesia, and—you guessed it—the Philippines.

According to the report, Thai, Filipino, Vietnamese, and Indonesian stars at the SS24 showed remarkable levels of engagement relative to their number of followers, a pattern evident on both Instagram and TikTok. Of all the SEA personalities that attended the fashion weeks, three influential Pinays made it to the Top 10 SEA Influencers list: Pia Wurtzbach, Heart Evangelista, and Anne Curtis.

FYI, EMV stands for Earned Media Value. It’s a metric to measure how much attention and value a brand or product gets from working with an influencer, showing how effective the influencer's posts are in reaching and engaging with the audience. This helps brands understand if their influencer collaborations are worth the money they invest. In summary, EMV is a tool to see if the partnership with an influencer is a good deal or not.

Pia, who just made her Fashion Week debut and was even told before that she was never going to make it to Fashion Week, generated a total of $2.9M EMV for her attendance at SS24 shows, making her the fourth highest EMV-generating SEA influencer. Following her on the fifth spot is Heart, a fashion week regular and veteran, who generated a total of $2.6M EMV. While Anne, another fashion week debutant, raked in a whopping $2.2M EMV.
