Now on her third consecutive year attending the Cannes Film Festival, Pia Wurtzbach-Jauncey has become a familiar—and eagerly awaited—presence on the Croisette. Year after year, the global style star consistently delivers memorable fashion moments, and naturally, her appearance this year is no exception.

This 2025, the Preview May 2025 cover star rolled out a series of standout looks, ranging from ensembles by international and Filipino designers alike. Among them was a breathtaking emerald green gown by Mark Bumgarner, which she wore for her final appearance at the week-long event.

The dress made a statement from every angle: sleek at the bodice with a clean, sculpted fit, then flaring into a dramatic, floor-sweeping skirt that seemed to float as she moved. Punctuated with the subtle bows placed at the hips, the gown carried a beautiful weight to it—structured enough to hold its full shape, but soft enough to flow with grace.

And yes, the look even had pockets, which was a practical touch that had Queen P rocking the red carpet with ease.

In an Instagram post, designer Mark Bumgarner revealed that the custom creation was inspired by one of his archival designs from 2017. “We softened the drama and focused on clean lines and structure,” he explains.

Styled by Perry Tabora, Pia punctuated the look with diamond and emerald Bulgari jewelry to complement the gown’s deep green tone, accessories that caught the sunlight perfectly as she walked the red carpet.

As the local representative for L’Oreal, the global style star rounded out her red carpet ensemble using products from the cosmetics brand. Her makeup artist, Justin Louise Soriano, gave her a glowing, fresh complexion paired with defined eyes and a peachy-nude lip—simple, but easily camera-ready. Hairstylist Jeck Aguilar kept her hair long, straight, and parted down the side, letting it fall smoothly over her shoulder. The pared-back style contrasted well with the volume of the gown, creating a look that felt effortless and elevated all at once.
