In keeping with the easy and breezy attitude of their sunny sponsor, Ipanema, designers Anthony Nocom, Catherine Cavilte, Dave Ocampo, Lyle Ibañez, and Raoul Ramirez dished out cheerful, summery repertoires on the seventh day of Philippine Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012.
A pastiche of prints distinguished the entire PFW segment, with all designers markedly toying with a motley of patterns for their respective collections. The usual loungewear suspects were present: linen basics and colorful to neutral separates (not to mention the PFW-ubiquitous—and iniquitous—red swimmies) for men; flirty little dresses, "dressy" evening choices, and all sorts of sheer (and shirred) dressing for the women.
The clear standout among the five outings is the last, Raoul Ramirez's, which showed a covetable blue-gray intro of leaf-print casual clothes for both the guys and the ladies.
