Philippine Fashion Week Is Changing… For The Better Get ready as PhFW dresses up for the era of “instafashion.”

If you were one of the many who attended Albert Andrada’s show during last season’s installment of Philippine Fashion Week, you might remember Executive Producer Joey Espino saying that the coming Spring/Summer 2015 season will be a “transitional” season. A few eyebrows were raised with some guessing that fashion week might go on a hiatus. And due to the condensed number of shows, some even raised speculations that it might be discontinued.

Debunking the theories, Fashion Week instead is slowing down to gear up for something bigger and better. With the next season’s shows coming at us in just 10 days, we couldn’t be more excited for what’s about to go down. Yes, it may be more condensed as the shows will only run for three days but rest assured they’ll be packed with more than just great snapshots for the audience to bring home.

Celebrating its 18th year with 25 seasons under its belt, PhFW takes things to a different level as it brings the runway closer to you. Presenting their latest collections, designers Arnold Galang, Cherry Veric, Eric delos Santos, Jeffrey Rogador, Jerome Salaya Ang, Jun Jun Cambe and Lyle Ibañez for EsAc, Nardie Presa, Pat Santos, and Sidney Perez Sio along with brands like Forever 21, SFERA, Suiteblanco, and Uno de 50, each look you see on the runway will be readily available for your consumption right after the show. Yup, that’s right. “Now, PhFW will no longer just be a feast for the eyes,” says Joey. “This time, we pave the roads that will lead from the runway to every fashionista’s closet. We have pooled together a must-watch line-up of designers and brands which have the capacity to make their creations available for the people to purchase, even right after the show.”
