Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2010: Visions & Trends PFW Holiday 2010 kicks off with 15 designer collections in
Visions & Trends.

The first batch of designers for Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2010 showcased their works in the Visions & Trends Collection on Wednesday, May 26, 2010.

The eclectic lineup of 15 designers found a unifying thread in their exploration of form-flattering modern cuts and silhouettes, which simultaneously contained and gave free reign to the artists' thematic diversity. The inspirations ranged from Aztec femme fatales, Lisa Fonssagrives, and Amelia Earhart, to a “dark Pegasus,” Oriental Indochine, and the 1920's Art Deco period.

All in all, the woman these first 15 designers had in mind is a fiercely strong one, a woman who knows what she wants sartorially and isn't afraid to flaunt all the hues of her femininity. Indeed, in the tonal (and thematic) spectrum of the 15 artists' Visions & Trends, all shades of womanliness are represented, and in them all of us are bound to find a glimmering reflection or a hint of a shadow of ourselves.
