Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2010: Estera, Simpao & Pamaong Angelo Estera, Odelon Simpao, and Shanon Pamaong all showcase their solo PFW Holiday 2010 collections.

Angelo Estera, Odelon Simpao, and Shanon Pamaong all presented their solo collections on the last day of Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2010.

Angelo Estera's collection was dominated by garments boasting of clean, simple figures cut from printed and hand-dyed fabrics that looked scrumptious when ruched, gathered, or draped, as they were in one of his strapless and embellished cocktail dresses and men's harem pants. Beaded bustiers also made a principal appearance in his lineup, underscoring the femininity of his Fashion Week offering.

Odelon Simpao, on the other hand, took a less feminine creative route, relying instead on the architectural aesthetic of Singapore's Orchard Road as his inspiration. Geometric lines, paneling, and ruching were the main design features of his collection, which notably adopted a color scheme of the spectral shades of purple.

Lastly, Shanon Pamaong was inspired by haute couture in the Middle East. He entitled his collection Dubai Holiday, and it showcased quite a bit of architectural influence that the designer may have gleaned from the magnificent edifices in Dubai. His evening gowns feature a lot of architectural detailing, while his men's suits are ultra-glitzy. While it was a tad out of place in the collection, the gray men's shirt featuring a draped front that can be worn loose, over the neck, or criss-crossed over the head to create a cowl neckline remains a an intriguing casual wear standout.
