The suits had a special Filipino touch to them, too!

In line with the enhanced community quarantine, all domestic and international flights via Philippine Airlines have been cancelled until April 30. Last April 14, however, the airline operated two special flights from Manila to Toronto and Vancouver to ferry Canadian citizens who were still stranded in the country.

To ensure the safety of everyone on board against COVID-19, PAL cabin crew were tasked to wear protective gear such as PPE suits, face shields, gloves, masks, and hair nets.

Their all-white suits, which bear the colors of the Philippine flag on the left shoulder, were designed and manufactured by local designer Edwin Tan

Both male and female cabin crew PPEs featured the same design, as seen in photos shared on the airline's Facebook page.

On his own Facebook post, Edwin shares that he and his team are also currently producing PPE suits for hospitals in need like many fashion designers in the country.
