This year’s Ready-To-Wear collections presented a well-defined mix of designs that catered to women of different personas. Alodia Cecilia opened the show with a series of dresses, from oversized sweaters for the minimalist to cutesy A-lines for the girly-girl at heart. To add texture to the mix, the designer tried her hands on ruching, as seen on this red-hot cocktail number.

TEXTURED STUNNER. Alodia went for fabric play instead of the usual sparkly add-ons.

Dimple Lim got us all tied up with her pieces embellished with twisted cotton ropes. Known for her androgynous taste, Dimple’s creations were made for the artsy audience.

TWISTS AND TURNS. We love the draping technique on this ombré piece!

NATIVE WONDER. This piña hoodie was the highlight of Dimple’s collection.

For designer Jian Lasala, sharp and sleek dressing in dark shades of red and green defined his collection. His pieces presented a balance of classic and modern, as seen on the high-volume skirt pairings, coatdresses, and '50s-inspired party frocks

STEP UP. These heelless platforms were a sight to behold.

Meanwhile, houndstooth and lace were John Guarnes’ textiles of choice, and his creations were very fitting for the trendy set.

HARD-MEETS-SOFT. This unusual combo of houndstooth and lace looked very well-put-together.

Big and bold was Yako Reyes’ style statement for the holidays, as loosely-fitted pieces in neutral hues dominated the runway. Dual elements of masculine and feminine were evident in most of the pieces, perfect for those who love to experiment with layers and movement.

RELAXED AND EASY. These casual-cool separates were a hit on the runway.
