Preview Ball We begin the countdown to the much-awaited Preview Ball 2013.

#PreviewBall2013 is still a few days away but we can’t hide our excitement any longer. While we wait to see and of course share everyone’s outfits, we decided to put together looks inspired by this year’s theme: Dancing Shoes. We’ll be coming up with two dance ensembles a day to count down to the event everyone’s been waiting for. Let’s all get our happy feet on, shall we?

DAY OF THE BALL

BALLROOM FEVER

SEXY CHA-CHA

This ensemble has ballroom written all over it. From the sparkles and fringe of the crop top, the ruffles on the skirt, and the details on the black heels, it will leave you no choice but to dance the night away.

BALLROOM PARTY

Take inspiration from the sex appeal that ballroom dancers give-off when they’re performing. If you want to make a statement, opt for a bodycon bursting with color and finish the look with a pair of edgy heels and accessories.

1 DAY TO GO

BALLET BLUES

MODERN BALLET

Edge up your ballerina ensemble by veering away from combining the colors pink and blue. Choose to pair this tulle dress with metallic heels and a beaded clutch to match the details on the frock.

PRIMA BALLERINA

Bring out your sweet side in a powder blue cocktail dress and complete the look by pairing it with ribbon-strapped heels—it may be a bit too literal but don’t hesitate to wear it if you know you can pull it off.

2 DAYS TO GO

GLITZY DISCO

PSYCHEDELIC '70S

The Seventies era loved color, so why not take advantage? Combine bold hues that complement each other with sexy metallics to take things from a casual day at work to a glam night out with friends.

RETRO WHITE

We just love how chic and classy an all-white ensemble can look. Just add hoop earrings (a '70s staple) and a pair of groovy wedges for that punch of color to happily peek through the flares of your trousers.

3 DAYS TO GO

Street Dance

COLORS FROM THE BLOCK

Street Dance can easily be translated to streetwear which happens to be on-trend these days. Color block and choose pieces like a snapback, pencil skirt, and mesh heels to add an unexpected spice to your look.

GRAY AREA

If you would rather go for the combination of the colors black, white, and gray, make sure you opt for items that either have embellishments or prints, so you still end up looking interesting and fun.
