While we’ve all mastered the art of shopping online by now, there are still aspects of the on-ground experience that are missed. For example, having someone answer your questions in real time so you can get into all the details you want to know. Finding out about the texture, weight, stock quantities, and recommendations for alternatives are just some of the things that are best done by talking to a sales associate. And then there are those extras like gift wrapping or loyalty point accrual.
Well, thankfully, 3 big department stores in the metro have set up personal shopping services to fill this exact need. All it takes is a phone call to get started, and you can pay online and arrange to pick up your items curbside, or have them delivered to your home.
Get started with the details below!
Robinsons Department Store
Launched last June, Robinsons Department Store’s “We Shop for You” service can be accessed via an online order form, a phone call, or text messages. Product catalogues are regularly published on their website and Facebook page, and you can also view their entire selection of available essentials in the Robinsons Department Store LazMall page. From beauty needs like skin care and bath products, to aesthetic decor from the Curated Home line, to a slew of slippers and loungewear, you’ll be spoiled with the choices and the affordable price points.
The SM Store
It’s easy to remember the number to call when you want to avail of the personal shopping service of The SM Store: #143SM (#14376), which is numeric code for “I love SM,” ICYDK. The “Call to Deliver” service is available across all 64 SM branches nationwide. You can connect with one of their personal shoppers through Viber and video call for an enhanced virtual shopping experience. And apart from the payment options of cash on delivery, credit or debit cards, GrabPay, GCash, and bank transfers, you can also make use of SM Gift Cards and SM Sodexo Gift Passes. The department store has always said that they’ve got it all, and now they’re giving everyone access to it without having to leave home.
The luxury retailer has always taken pride in the attentive and personalized service they give customers, and they’ve taken this a step further with Rustan’s Personal Shopper On Call. Starting October 24, you only need to save one number to avail of this service: 0917 111 1952. You’ll be able to shop the department store’s local and international offerings without having to leave home, and, with a minimum spend of P5000, your purchases will be delivered for free to your door starting November 1. Orders below that amount will be delivered for a fee of P200 for Metro Manila and P300 for provinces. Curbside pickups can also be arranged from any of the 5 branches.
This Christmas, they are poised to help customers make their home celebrations special. The annual Christmas Shop is officially open and beautifully-trimmed trees and home decor are in stock. One only has to check the Rustan’s online catalogs and visit their website to get started with gift shopping.
