ON BEING PART OF PEFTA

Without any doubt, PEFTA triggered a range of interested parties to seek my help and collaboration. I was contacted by various stylists and magazines who wanted to feature my designs, celebrities who were interested to wear my pieces, and other potential customers. I was also offered to enter into a collaboration with fashion stores and agreed to produce a collection for The Ramp Crossings.

LOOKING BACK: HIS GREATEST LESSON

PEFTA helped me to fully realize my potential and successfully turn my weaknesses into strengths. I had to keep to deadlines and be very organized from the start, since I was involved in all areas of the production—from the initial sketches, choosing materials, and construction. A further challenge was preparing for interviews and expressing myself with confidence. I am grateful for the opportunity to get involved with every aspect of the business.

LOOKING FORWARD: 2013 PLANS

Fashion has always been a major part of my life. My desire to become known and respected in the industry motivates me to successfully participate in fashion shows and events with the ultimate goal of establishing my own brand and turn my passion into a financially viable enterprise. A small part of my Ready-To-Wear collection might still be available at The Ramp Crossings.

PAYING IT FORWARD: TWO CENTS FOR THE NEW BATCH
