With the release of this year’s September issue, Preview in collaboration with Publicis JimenezBasic, launched the Fashion Is Power campaign that aims to empower women in the fight against violence. Since then, two instructional videos have been released that teaches women how to turn ordinary accessories as weapons in times of need.
In the first video, Georgina Wilson demonstrated how a sharp stiletto can be used to fight an attacker. For the second video, Ellen Adarna does the same only this time she uses a ring as her weapon of choice. In the coming weeks, two more videos will be released that will show how an ordinary bag and umbrella can be used to combat muggers.
Taking things up a notch, Preview and Publicis JimenezBasic taps in The Ramp Crossings for a special treat for its loyal customers. Starting this week, bags, rings, stilettos, and umbrellas handpicked by Preview’s Editor-in-Chief, Pauline Juan, will be up for grabs exclusively at their Glorietta branch. As an added treat, purchasing one of these items also admits you to one class at Krav Maga Makati. This way you can truly maximize the power of fashion.
