Park Bo Gum may have already enlisted in the navy last August 31, but he didn't forget to leave us with a precious parting gift: Record of Youth is now streaming on Netflix—and, we dare say, it’s the new fashionable K-drama we’re utterly obsessed with!
Only two episodes in and our screens have already been blessed with numerous fashion shows headlined by Park Bo Gum, who himself plays a model in the show. His character, Sa Hye Jun, dreams of making it as an actor but comes from an underprivileged family that struggles to make ends meet. Mind you, though—his sartorial choices are anything but underwhelming. On the first episode alone, he’s spotted lugging around a $3550 designer bag. *pretends to be shocked* (Of course, we all know it’s not the first time a financially challenged character has had an expensive wardrobe in a K-drama.
