We give you the latest on what's going down at Paris with a daily update fresh off the runway. Here's what went down on day 5:
Only the sight of palm tree-printed shirts, straw bucket hats, and sheer floor-sweeping dresses can make you itch for the beach faster than a piña colada can kick in. John Galliano takes us to one of the most cliche destinations for spring and yet we still, somehow, find it quite refreshing. From the utilitarian short-sleeved coats to the micro mini baby doll dresses, each piece from the collection looked as if it were planned around an island getaway's itinerary of afternoon hikes up the rainforest and dinner parties by the shore. If you loved last season's '90s satin slips, it's about time you transitioned into the noughties with bell sleeved peasant tops and spaghetti-strapped dresses care of Chloé's Spring 2015 collection. Feminine and delicate yet practical and elegant, the collection focused on proportions that we're clean and precise with its mix of soft tapered pieces in suede and denim and billowy drapes of georgette and embroidered cheesecloth.
Gaby Aghoin, the founder of Chloé, passed away just a day before the show. The collection was dedicated in her honor. (See the full collection here.)
