For those in need of a statement piece.
Our Favorite Ruffled Pieces from Bengt Enrique’s S/S 2016 Collection For those in need of a statement piece.

Last October 2015, Bengt Enrique paraded his Spring/Summer 2016 collection at Green Sun for the Manila Fashion Festival. As soon as we saw the ruffled beauties sashay down the runway, we already made a mental note of the pieces we just had to get our hands on.  Fast forward to March 2016 and these fab creations are now up for grabs on his website. Yay!

So, if your wardrobe is in dire need of a new statement piece for the countless last minute summer soirees you’re bound to attend, look no further. Bengt’s latest collection, called A Wrinkle in Time, takes inspiration from the multiple eras, the French Riviera, and Brigitte Bardot. If you fancy looking like an uber stylish, but fun #girlboss, this collection is for you. “This is made for women who are highly successful in their fields, are in touch with their femininity, and allow nothing and no one to hold them back,” he shares.

Check out a few of our ruffled favorites below.

The Svea Ponte Ruffle Bib (P7450) as seen on Preview’s Features and Copy Editor, Jae Pickrell.

"Bouncy ruffles surround the bib crafted from Ponte di Roma fabric and finished with charmeuse ribbons."

Signy Ponte Ruffle Skirt, P5950

"Crafted in mid-weight Ponte di Roma fabric, this skirt features a cascade of ruffles that frame the hips and accentuate the legs."

Annika Galaxy Striped Top, P5950

"The Annika top with our signature asymmetric ruffled trumpet sleeve was crafted in striped galaxy tulle fabric, a novel interpretation of '80s power dressing."

The Liselott Raschel Knit Ruffle Top (P8750) as seen on blogger, Alyssa Lapid, at the launch of the all new Preview

"The Liselott is one of the key looks from our Spring/Summer 2016 collection. This sheer top crafted in raschel knit features a lavish ruffle peplum and billowing trumpet sleeves."

Lykke Babydoll Top, P9450

"The Lykke top is cut for a universally flattering fit. Crafted from tulle and chiffon, this piece is entirely quilted creating a richly textured surface. The gathered bell sleeves and peplum add an additional layer of volume and playfulness."

Solbritt Rib Knit Ruffle Bib, P4750

"The Solbritt bib is decorated with romantic ruffles and designed in a soft ivory hue. This flattering style comes with a fluid charmeuse pussybow collar and ribbons on the side."

Remember that stunner of a gown that Kelsey Merritt wore on the cover of Preview’s February 2016 issue? The piece was specially made for the It girl’s first Preview cover so Bengt decided to call it the Kelsey Ruffle Gown (P38,750)

"This billowy gown crafted in metal organza (yes, actual metal was used) is a standout piece with dramatic ruffles cascading from the bell sleeves. It features an elegant yoke panel that elongates the frame and a fluid bias-cut skirt with a long train."
