When the year hits the month of November, it’s a given. Christmas jingles will be on loop of every shop’s playlist. The décors, though they don’t come out until after Halloween, always give us more reason to favor a mall over another. We all love shopping, but when a mall is decked with Christmas lights, balls, mistletoes, and garlands—wrapped up like a present waiting to be seen—we can’t deny that we get all giddy. It’s a cue to start shopping for gifts, but more importantly, it makes us feel the spirit of the season more. The brilliant competition of the mall façades at night are always Instagram-worthy, but this year the malls are giving the indoors their all, too!
The Power Plant mall in Rockwell never fails to impress when it comes to decking their halls. From their signature building outline that brightens up the Makati skyline at night, there's also a decor in every corner you take inside their abode. You name it, they have it.
From penguins and moving polar bears...
To Santa and his reindeers...
To the Holy Family and the three kings...
And dozens of giant Christmas wreaths hanging on different levels from the ceiling. Whew! Now that's a lot of decor. All we can say is that #ChristmasAtRockwell is at the top of our list.
Ayala is known for the yearly dancing Christmas lights shown at Ayala Triangle, but their malls are a different story. Every year it is a given that once we see their trademark red poinsettias scattered all over different parts of the mall, the Yuletide season has officially begun. It does make us wonder how there's never a shortage of the plant, because they really do manage to fill up all the corners of their shopping spaces with it year after year. No complaints here though. It's a really pretty tradition, don't you think?
Aside from their signature Christmas plant, we spotted a bunch of this giant leafy Christmas tree in Greenbelt.
We also saw a random yet super adorable Christmas setups like this sled filled with gifts.
The vast space of the Glorietta activity center was adorned with various Christmas decors that added to the cheery carols that were being played.
SM Aura Premier
The SM Aura Premier may be one of the newer SM malls, but it certainly didn't hold back on making a buzz this Christmas.
Right at the center of their activity center is setup filled with massive decorations— a huge Christmas tree, two giant peacocks, and humungous Christmas balls.
Look at how lovely and striking that peacock tail is. Now that's a well thought of centerpiece.
#LoveChristmas at Century City Mall
We enumerated a bunch of reasons why you guys should visit the Century City Mall this December (read here), but aside from their generous treats and promos, their Christmas installations should get you more excited.
We spotted Santa's workshop,
and a snow-themed area that kids will surely love. We're guessing Santa himself will be making an appearance here real soon. Plus, it's right beside the now popular Hole in the Wall you should all check out. Trust us.
Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree, how lovely are your branches. Doesn't this tall tree make you want to sing? This is the first thing that will greet you as soon as you step into this mall.
Let there be white light. It looks like a scene from a true white Christmas in here.
Now, not a lot of you guys may know this mall at all. It's actually still pretty empty at the moment. But as early as now, Estancia Mall is already showing a lot of potential. Located at the flourishing Capitol Commons, this all-white fashion-inspired adornment gets our seal of approval.
