Onelife’s Grippies Are the Pilates Socks You’ll Actually Want to Wear

Pilates has always been about control, strength, and flow—but who says it can’t be fun?

Beyond the burn and the mindful movements, part of the joy is dressing up for class: coordinated sets, chic water bottles, and socks that keep you grounded while looking and feeling good. Local boutique fitness brand Onelife, best known for its personalized Pilates and strength training programs, has tapped into that very idea with the launch of Grippies—grip socks designed to bring both style and function to your studio sessions.

Born as an in-studio staple, Grippies were refined through years of feedback from the Onelife community. The debut line takes inspiration from the brand’s signature florals—motifs that go beyond surface design to reflect the very principles of Pilates itself. The Waling-Waling, revered as the “queen of Philippine flowers,” speaks to strength and resilience; the True Orchid represents grace and elegance in every controlled movement; while the Wild Bloom captures the spirit of bold, unapologetic growth that comes from pushing limits. Available in ankle-toe and crew styles, Grippies are crafted to anchor each transition.

Onelife also introduced GripGems, detachable charms crafted exclusively for Grippies and a first in the Philippines. Inspired by the same floral motifs, these small add-ons snap securely onto the socks, allowing movers to “sockcessorize” their look. By reimagining a functional essential as a customizable accessory, GripGems reflect how today’s fitness gear is increasingly doubling as a form of self-expression.

The collection was unveiled on August 7, 2025, at Onelife Estancia, which was transformed into a floral garden for the occasion. Guests tried on the designs, personalized their pairs with GripGems, and even created custom socks with Artlet Studio. Founder Tanya Aguila shared, “Grippies were born from our community’s feedback and love for movement. We’re excited to finally share them beyond our walls and celebrate Filipino design on a larger stage.”

Grippies are priced at P650 for the Wide Band Socks and P750 for the Crew Socks, with the Garden Pack—a bundle of multiple designs—at ₱P,250. Meanwhile, GripGems retail at P1,000 for a set of three, giving Pilates enthusiasts the option to mix, match, and personalize their look.
