The brand that’s been redefining ukay is at it again.
Over the weekend, vintage goods reseller and IG brand Wildflower Finds dropped its fourth collection.
For those who no longer enjoy suspension of classes due to inclement weather, this came as a godsend. 'Storm Trooper' was built around the idea of braving what proprietress and one-woman team Tami Acena considers an oftoverlooked season in Philippine fashion. Worried about Egay and Falcon? Wildflower Finds has you covered, literally.

Acena wrote on her blog, "I find it puzzling how Philippine fashion in its conformity to international seasons, overlooks one of the more important seasons for protective fashion design: storm season... That's 5 months of walking on puddles, braving strong winds and treading through floods that abound all over the metro."
(Marc by Marc Jacobs Sweater)
Like other ukay-curators before her, she starts with some form of inspiration—be it a design trend or a business gap, or from advertising and film—and then picking a theme based on relevance and practicality. Then comes the work of having to source the clothes. While most of it is thrifted, some of the pieces are found in friends’ closets and consigned; everything is handpicked by Tami herself.

Next comes doing what it takes to get the clothes IG-ready—that’s shooting, editing and posting on Instagram. The whole process takes around 3 weeks.
(Two tone coat)
The clothes get snapped up pretty quickly - all it takes is a comment that says 'mine!' or 'dibs!' and the piece is reserved for you. No DM's required. Head on over to @WildflowerFinds right now to see what’s still available.

Style Bible tip: Guys, Wildflower Finds is expanding to include menswear—we’ll just have to wait for August 8.
