Lasy July 15, Olivia was asked to visit the White House to give a speech about the importance of receiving COVID-19 vaccines—most especially for the youth. There, she also got a chance to meet with President Joe Biden, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and Vice President Kamala Harris. They even recorded videos together which brought light to how the younger generation should get jabbed in order to protect themselves and those around them.
The pop star’s speech was definitely impactful. But we think that her vintage ensemble was definitely a show-stopper. Olivia's Chanel tweed skirt-suit was an oh-so classic professional look which alluded to the stylings of first lady Jacqueline Kennedy from the 1960s.
The Chanel piece was light strawberry pink with vermillion and turquoise accent patterns—a youthful take on the storied set. Olivia entered the White House in chunky Giuseppe Zanotti heels with black socks which really gave the film a nod to now-classic films like Clueless and Legally Blonde. To accessorize, she was seen with silver Justine Clenquet earrings and a cute, tiny Amina Muaddi purse.
Of course, it's not just us who noticed Olivia's fashion pegs for this look. The Twitterverse were also quick to point out that Olivia woke up today to dress with stylish nostalgia.
