Here are a few statistics you should know about Nike: Its worldwide revenues topped $44.5 billion in 2021. About 63 percent of its income, or over $28 billion comes from footwear. And, as of the end of May 2021, the brand had 1,048 retail stores across the planet, in addition to all the other outlets where its products are available.
On Saturday, May 21, Nike added one more to the list with the opening of its flagship store in the Philippines: Nike Fort.
With 14,000 square foot of retail space spread across two floors, the refurbished Nike store on Bonifacio High Street is the largest not just in the country, but in the entire Southeast Asia region.
The brand, of course, is well-known for outfitting people pursuing active lifestyles so expect nothing less from the flagship store. Its dizzying lineup of products caters to those who are into sports like running, basketball, golf, yoga, tennis, cross-training, and others.
The ground floor is dedicated to women and kids and features a service where women are given priority for all their shopping needs. There’s also a dedicated section for all sorts of inquiries, from returns to customization requests (yes, you can personalize the stuff that you buy). And in one area, there’s a mini gym called the Experience Studio with an actual basketball court. We’re told there will be sports and wellness sessions here.
The second floor features the men’s section, with all the latest shoe and sneaker models available, as well as apparel. There’s also a t-shirt printing area where you can personalize a t-shirt that you bought with cool silkscreen prints.
If you’re a fan of the brand and all the things it offers, this is the place to go.
