One of Nike's most popular sneaker lines, the Air Max, has a long and storied history that dates as far back as the 1970s. Through decades of evolution, the sneaker, originally designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, has been reinvented over and over with new styles and silhouettes, one of the most popular being the Air Max 90. Considered to be the second flagship design of the Air Max series, the style has gone through many makeovers since its original release in the 1990s, and even today, The Swoosh constantly puts out new iterations of the pair. One of the latest releases shows the beloved sneaker looking the most clean and sophisticated we've ever seen: The Air Max 90, in an iteration dubbed the "Zebra," would make any white sneaker lover swoon! Though you may be hard-pressed to find the pair in the Philippines, you can cop it at sneaker shop The Athlete's Foot in Cebu City.
The Air Max 90 has all of the OG Air Max's signature elements such as the lightweight feel, air-bag technology, and sole window, giving the style a classic feel. The layered construction and thick, grooved sole are some of the 90's most distinct features and in the Zebra iteration, you'll see all those same details decked out in white, off white, and varying nude tones. The muted colors of the silhouette's many layers and details stand out against the white upper, giving the pair structure and dimension. Look closely and you'll see a ridged texture along the sole, heel, and lace keeper as well as a striped pattern on the Swoosh—just in case you were wondering why they call this pair the Zebra.

Though the Air Max 90 has always been a favorite among sneakerheads and streetwear enthusiasts, this sleek, clean-cut take on the shoe makes the pair more accessible to different style profiles and personalities. Though decked out in several colors, textures, and patterns, its design is seamless and comes across as a modern, understated, and versatile pair.
