Something to instantly glam up your OOTDs!

Time and again, the people behind our favorite sneaker brands outdo themselves with each exciting release. We’ve already shared with you our fave pastel sneakers, and even classic white kicks with subtle accents, but we bet you haven’t seen anything like Nike’s upcoming pair! The sportswear giant is rolling out brand new AF 1 Low kicks that are fit for a fancy affair, as they are frosted with icy gems.

The sole is also textured with a ribbed and dotted pattern that references the shoe’s many crystals.

The AF 1 Low LX “Bling” is decked out in the clean white leather that you know and love, except it decided to get dressed to the nines by adorning itself with not just one but two gemstones that sit atop the laces. In between the aquamarine and gray sapphire stones is a golden Swoosh logo rimmed with more bling. The fun doesn’t end there though. It also seems like these AF 1 Lows have a thing for neutrals (just like us!)—the tongue is tinted a warm beige color that makes the stones dazzle even more.

If you ask us, this playful, party-ready design seems to be a nod to the fashion world’s current affinity for the early 2000s, as evidenced by all the scarf tops and tie-dye looks you’ve been seeing on IG. We just hope that we wouldn’t have to wear these pumped up kicks with low-rise jeans in the near future… please stay put in the early aughts where you belong.

The extended tongue gives the design a deconstructed vibe that offsets the glam factor.

According to Sneaker News, this designs is slated for release in Europe this July, but we’re hoping it'll be available in the Philippines, too! It is reportedly priced at $120 or approximately P5948.
