In an elegant little soirée held in the Atrium of Enderun, Nicole Whisenhunt launched her first ever bridal collection last March, well before the June bridal season. Entitled The Wedding, the collection features several stunning bib neckpieces, brooches, hair pieces and belts gleaming with crystals and precious stones for prospective brides and their entourage.
“A wedding is one of the most important events of one's life. Usually women would bring out their most gorgeous diamonds, but my take on one's wedding is to bring out the most glamorous yet timeless fantasy jewelry. In this case, women can be lavishly dressed in the most stunning and glimmering of crystals,” Nicole tells us.
She said that for her first bridal collection, she was mainly inspired by the beauty of crystals, which becomes readily apparent as soon as one sees her pieces. Bold, dazzling and arresting, the neckpieces and accessories twinkle with spectacular delight. One can't help but think how lovely these items will complement the radiance of a beautiful bride on her special day.
They can easily be the focal attraction if worn with an elegantly simple wedding gown, or they can also just as easily complement a more dramatic bridal ensemble. In any case, the pieces are guaranteed to enhance the wearer's beauty and bridal blush.
The bride's attendants are not forgotten, however. Nicole has colored pieces she specifically designed for the bridal entourage—payonetas, headpieces, belts, and brooches. These pieces are doubly special since Nicole designed them to be wearable to other occasions after the wedding. That eliminates one thing from the bridesmaid's list of never-to-be-worn-again bridesmaid outfits!
For soon-to-be brides who want to add a touch of resplendent fantasy to their bridal ensembles, Nicole can customize pieces according to the client's wishes and the theme of her wedding. That day is all about the bride, after all, and Nicole acknowledges this reality. “They can dream of the most creative, big, bold, and intricate designs for themselves, as well as customize their bridesmaids' accessories in order for them to be an entourage gift as well.
