Among the stars present at this year's Met Gala was one of Karl Lagerfeld's longtime muses, Nicole Kidman. For the occassion, the Australian actress went down the nostalgic route and donned the same frock she wore for an iconic Chanel No. 5 campaign all the way back in 2004.

The ethereal ensemble starred a jaw-dropping feather train that draped ever-so-elegantly on the steps of the Met. The piece, which Karl designed himself, first gained icon status when Nicole wore it for a perfume commercial nearly two decades ago. It still fits like a dream!
The actress expressed her gratitude to Karl, stating "thank you for the memories" while getting ready. When she arrived at the event, she shared that the dress "required 'repeated' fittings" but was still "light as a feather and unbelievably comfortable."

What a fashionable throwback! You looked exquisite, Nicole!
