Nicole Cordoves is cute the cool girl. You probably last saw the Miss Grand International 2016 Runner-Up during her hosting stint for the recently-concluded Binibining Pilipinas pageant, for which she was lauded, thanks to her energy and charisma. (We also wrote a report on why we think she was the best dressed queen of the night, ICYMI.) She also has her own YouTube channel, where she discusses everything pageant-related.
While scrolling through her feed, we noticed that she had stylish beach outfits up her sleeve, too! Her seaside looks are effortless and fresh, making them prime targets for our screencapping-for-inspo sprees. Yes, we're taking notes for our next beach trips, and you should, too.
1. If your beach trip is a couple of days long, you ought to set aside one entire afternoon to just read and lounge in the sun with a glass of fruit juice–we all need to slow down and refresh our bodies and minds. For her own quiet afternoon, Nicole wore a mustard bralette, a sand-hued mini skirt, and white eyelet wedge sandals.

2. You only need one item to transform your two-piece into a complete brunch lewk: A tiered maxi skirt. Trust us, this will always work.

3. After losing the maxi skirt, you'll still have a complete look if you style your bikini with dainty jewelry. Nicole's wearing a subtle gold chain and matching ear huggies. So simple, yet it makes all the difference.

4. She's actually using her skirt as a beach towel. This is genuis, by the way. We recommend doing this if your skirt comes in a fabric that sand doesn't cling to, like linen or satin, among others. (Also, a white bucket hat is a beach essential!)

5. Everyone needs a baby blue bikini. You won't need to bring anything to match it with since it'll look picturesque against the water anyway!

6. We haven't seen a belted halter-style maillot in a while! Nicole's is totally backless, which adds a sultry touch to an otherwise modest suit.

7. Not sure what to pack to the beach? Don't panic–you'll be fine as long as you bring all your favorite flowy dresses. This tiered off-shoulder midi number is a hardworking beach staple. Pair it with nude flip flops and you've got a look!

8. So that's why Nicole likes belted swimsuits– they have built-in holders for hair clamps! (Long-haired girls, this is a fashion takeaway for you!) Anyway, Nicole is looking lovely in a busy mixed print maillot. It works so well with the foliage in the background!

9. We stand by what we said about wearing pretty dresses to the beach. This one's a smocked pistachio baby doll with longsleeves. So cute!

10. Crochet bikini tops are really here to stay. We had some reservations about them at first, but they're too pretty to resist. Here, Nicole paired her rose top with a taupe wrap skirt. Chic, chic, chic.
