These are foolproof!

You probably have a friend or two aiming to "neutralize" their wardrobe. By that, they likely mean they're trying to purge their closets of hyperpieces (i.e. those garments that peak at purchase and are too idiosyncratic to be staples), and sticking to mellow, timeless colors and silhouettes. Definitely not a bad choice. While we love our prints and blinding hues, we'll always have an appetite for everything subtle and sublime. If you need a refresher on trustworthy neutral OOTDs, check out this list. You can make a uniform out of any of these ensembles.
1. Mari Jasmine
Invest in a HQ fuzzy knit set. You could literally live in these peanut coordinates Mari Jasmine has on. They look so comfortable, and we can already picture how amazing they'd look when dressed up with brown knee-high boots.

2. Jess Wilson
You won't hesitate to don this slouchy sleeveless tee. It's the type of piece you'll be missing the moment it makes its way into the laundry bin–it's the perfect antidote on days when you have "nothing to wear". You can style it with anything–ivory paperbag trousers, a silk skirt, flared denim jeans, boxy shorts–what have you! So chic.

3. Martine Ho
See, white isn't plain at all! This ensemble's a head-turner–we're loving the ribbed leggings and windbreaker combo. The dual-toned chunky sandals, too, are gorgeous. Now you know: a seamless color scheme can elevate even the most no-frills of outfits.

4. Liz Uy
There are two fashion takeaways here: 1) a belted dress in a nude color will flatter virtually any body type, and 2) the shoe you choose to pair it with is crucial. Here, Liz Uy wears tri-toned mules with spherical wooden heels, which add to the warmth of the outfit. Strappy black stilettos or white knife pumps would alter the mood dramatically!

5. Marie Lozano
We're firmly in the era of beaches. No one's dressing up for hotel parties anymore; instead, we're gunning for chic seaside dressing. Apart from solidifying our faith in the no-fail white bandeau + linen pant combo, Marie Lozano's making a case for massive sun hats that resemble giant clam shells. So beautiful!

Not feeling pants? Trade in trousers for a dainty brown skirt. Wear it with a blazer in the same hue and a black turtleneck. (Kelly Misa's Fendi handbag is an excellent accessory).

7. Lovi Poe
Every girl needs a flouncy, dainty dress that's simultaneously beachy and cottagecore. Make sure to wear it with gold accessories!

8. Rhian Ramos
Wear a white minidress with a linen double-breasted blazer. That'll land you perfect mix of sultry and smart casual. To keep it comfy, forego sky-high pumps and slip on some kitten heels!

9. Sarah Lahbati
Go ahead, sneak some inspo from menswear. This chic ensemble borrows from '70s sensibilities with that tri-toned collared sweater. Sarah Lahbati paired it with slightly reflective khaki monogram pants and black boots. We're loving the overlapping textures.

10. Bea Alonzo
This rich camel brown dress is a wardrobe MVP! You can opt to wear it on its own, of course, but when worn over a longsleeved shirt, it yields a vintage appeal. This OOTD is definitely a foolproof autumn uniform.

11. Elisse Joson
Heading out for errands and quick a coffee run? Shed your loungewear and opt to don a form-flattering, stretchy bodycon dress, teamed with platform slippers.

12. Jaz Reyes
Here's a fun one! If you're not in the mood for color but want to add spice to your 'fit, find something with a sexy asymmetrical cut. Jaz Reyes' one-shoulder top does just the trick. She teamed it with tulip pants, white Chanel sneakers, an HermèsEvelyne shoulder bag, and white sunglasses. We'd wear this laidback look every day if we could.

13. Kimi Juan-Caja
If you have glowy morena skin like Kimi Juan-Caja, garments in white should be your best friends. Wear a white button-down with poet sleeves and eyelet detailing, and pair it with languid plaid pants. The dainty top and masculine trousers are an unexpected mix, but they work.

14. Kim Jones
Wear a black corset top with a draped mid waist skirt. The outcome will be painterly, we promise. If you don't have these pieces in black, you can simply wear the same combination in beige, white, brown, or whatever neutral hue you have.

15. Renee de Guzman
Why not pile on different neutral hues? Combine a black cap, black bag, a pair of mouse gray trousers, and a dual-toned backless top. So effortlessly chic.
