In 2024, one of the biggest fashion and cultural trends was quiet luxury, which was brought about by brands practicing restraint and veering away from loud logos. With heritage brands at its forefront, the trend was amplified on social media and sparked dialogue on style preferences.
Adding a subtle layer to the narrative of quiet luxury, one legacy brand is getting praise for its latest footwear offering that incorporates branding in the most clever way—presenting the Loewe Type Fussbett Sandals.

At first glance, the Loewe Type Fussbett Sandals seem like an ordinary pair of footweer with more buckles than usual. However, closer inspection will reveal that the five buckles creatively spell out the Loewe name.
Made with vegetable-tanned and suede calfskin, the sandals are currently available in three colors—black, hazelnut, and avocado green. The buckle motif features oversized metallic letters and the buckles themselves are not adjustable.
While the buckle motif came into Loewe fruition during Jonathan Anderson's leadership, the Spanish house's current creative directors Jack McCollough and Lázaro Hernández added a playful twist.
Sizing-wise, the men's sandals are offered starting from a European 40 up to 46, while the women's are available from 35 to 41. Purchasing a pair from the Loewe website will cost you P73,200—covering free delivery and including tax and duty fees.
