Nadine Lustre Designed Her ‘This Time’ Premiere Night Dress All the details straight from her stylist!

Last night, April 3, 2016, reel and real life couple Nadine Lustre and James Reid graced the red carpeted hallway of SM Megamall for the premiere of their new movie, This Time. While fans were all kilig with JaDine's new film, we couldn’t help but notice the two-time Preview girl’s OOTN. A self-confessed lover of anything and everything black, it was refreshing to see Nadine in a romantic pink frock for a change. We asked her stylist, Joanna Garcia, to dish out the deets on her dress. Here's what we found out. Read on!

Who made Nadine’s dress?

Nadine’s dress was made by designer Mak Tumang. We chose him because Nadine wanted something simple and romantic and he was the perfect designer for it. Since our schedule was a bit crazy these past few days, we did the fitting a day before and several adjustments were made just hours before the premiere. Really crazy! I also had additional beadwork done on the waist by designer Mix Supetran.

We heard Nadine designed the dress? Can you share with us how the collaboration happened?

Nadine is very stylish, hands-on, and meticulous when it comes to detail, so the collaboration happened between me, Nadine, and Jelly Eugenio (her makeup artist). At first she wanted something Balmain-inspired so I sent her pegs with fully beaded dresses and thigh-high gladiators. Eventually, she and Jelly made a sketch of a gown she wanted and finally agreed on something elegant, classy, and timeless.

We rarely see her in pink, was it also her idea to have the dress in the sweet hue?

The blush nude color was her idea.

The lace-up sandals and thigh-high slit remind us of Kendall Jenner at the MTV Movie Awards, can you share more details on the styling of her whole look?

She wore Dina Castro studs that are worth half a million (Eek!), accessories from Jacatel, and custom-made thigh high gladiators. The sandals and the slit added spunk to her feminine outfit—stylish but with a bit of an edge, very Nadine.
