“Our inspiration was the ‘40s era when everyone would really dress up for every occasion, big or small. “For the makeup, we just wanted it fresh and not heavy. We agreed to take a 180-degree spin from what she has done in the past, so we opted for lighter hues of nudes and neutrals.”

“We carefully chose the jewelry because we wanted something understated but still very sophisticated – a tennis bracelet and a pair of diamond earrings both by JJ Jiao. Her minaudière was custom-made by Anna Rubio.”

“Julia is 20 years old already. She always looks timeless yet fashion-forward, but this year, we made sure that she also looks age-appropriate. I wanted her to represent the women her age and, at the same time, show that she's a queen in her own right. ”
