Ah, the joy of being Filipino!

When Rhett Eala first launched the My Pilipinas line for Collezione-C2 (the Philippine map printed on each piece), the fashion scene was ignited with nationalistic spirit and heart. In fact, many other brands followed and trend found it's place on the fashion map (pun intended).

This concept brought about the collaboration between Rhett Eala, who is the Creative Director of Collezione-C2, and internationally-acclaimed notebook brand, Moleskine, in cooperation with National Bookstore. The result? A limited edition Moleskine classic notebook with the Philippine map stamped on the cover.

Aficionados know it's not just any other notebook. Moleskine has been the top-choice notebook of many artists, writers, intellectuals and travelers.

“It has been a witness to many historical events with some of its famous users: Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso and Ernest Hemingway, whose Moleskines held a collection of invaluable drawings, sketches, notes and stories,” shares Arnault Castel, General Manager of Working Unit (official distributor of Moleskine in Asia).

The notebooks are available in large and pocket-sizes, the acid-free paper thread-bound. You also have the option to choose between plain or ruled pages for both sizes. They come with a bookmark, an elastic closure, and expandable inner pocket. All these features make the notebook an ideal companion to chronicle the most memorable life events and milestones.

“The My Pilipinas line aims to transform the Philippine fashion scene by making a mark as a brand that is very proud to be Pinoy. I feel very proud, myself, that an international brand tapped me for this. That's what Collezione-C2 is all about anyway—to make an impact,” Rhett says. “The brand has been around for many years innovating unique designs and styles that are at par with the international scene. So it's a nice thing to extend this concept to notebooks.”

My Pilipinas Moleskine is available exclusively at Collezione-C2 branches and selected National Book Store outlets.
