These are the guests who never fail to dazzle on the red carpet.

President Rodrigo Duterte will be delivering his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) today at Batasang Pambansa, Quezon City. This year’s SONA will be a little different. Citizens are waiting for what the President has to say about the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the government’s future plans.

Aside from that, the event will only be accommodating a maximum of 50 guests, as opposed to the larger number of well-heeled politicians and their spouses in previous years. What these guests had to wear has always intrigued us, as most of these ensembles highlight Filipiniana attire and the craftsmanship of local designers. Ahead of this today’s address, we look back at the most stylish outfits we've seen on the SONA red carpet in recent years:
