President Rodrigo Duterte will be delivering his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) today at Batasang Pambansa, Quezon City. This year’s SONA will be a little different. Citizens are waiting for what the President has to say about the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the government’s future plans.
Aside from that, the event will only be accommodating a maximum of 50 guests, as opposed to the larger number of well-heeled politicians and their spouses in previous years. What these guests had to wear has always intrigued us, as most of these ensembles highlight Filipiniana attire and the craftsmanship of local designers. Heart Evangelista imbibes class and elegance in a midi terno gown by Mark Bumgarner, which was made more feminine with a semi-full skirt and sweetheart neckline.
