You might've seen Yanna Cowper pop up on your explore page on Instagram because of her oh-so-cool and summery OOTDs, but this girl isn't just gonna settle for insta-fame—she wants to do modeling for real. Get to know this 20-year-old model who wants to make it big worldwide.
Describe your personal style.
"I’m really into off-shoulder tops, rompers, and long sleeves that give off a '70s Boho vibe. I like to play around with colors [and sometimes] keep it neutral, too.
Who’s your number one model girl crush/inspo and why?
"Kelsey Merritt. For one, I love her look and I think it’s very versatile. I also think she’s really good at what she does and you can just see how much she really worked for it. I mean, she’s so young and she’s already accomplished such big things, plus she knows how to manage her time when it comes to school, too."
If you were to be any model (local or international) for a day, who would you be and why?
"Kendall Jenner. Some people would think she’s only where she is because of her name, but I think she’s really good. Aside from the fact that I wish I looked like her (laughs), she’s rising to be one of the top models and booking all these great campaigns. Plus, her life seems so fun!"
What’s the most difficult/scariest thing you’ve ever done for a shoot?
"I don’t think I've ever been placed in a scary situation but I’ve had a challenging shoot where I had to get in a freezing pool at 5am and float on water with heavy extensions in my hair."
