Digging deeper into the demographics reveals an even more compelling trend: Filipino Gen Z users (aged 18–24) are driving the surge, logging a massive 57% year-on-year increase in search volume. Millennials (aged 25–34) aren’t far behind either, posting a 45% spike for the same period.
Across the region, Singapore mirrored this youth-led pattern, while in Hong Kong, interest was strongest among users aged 25–34. “This age-led trend hints at Miu Miu’s growing cultural relevance in the secondhand space,” Carousell noted, “especially among fashion-savvy Gen Z and Millennials.”

While resale demand is on the rise, supply is still catching up. Although Carousell reported a 66% increase in Miu Miu listings in the Philippines from 2024 to 2025, inventory remains limited. “Demand far outstrips supply for Miu Miu,” shared Ralph Marvin Garcia, Carousell’s Regional Category Manager for Fashion. “Gen Z shoppers tend to hold on to the still-trending pieces like bowling bags and ballet flats. These trend-led items tend to stay in one’s wardrobe longer, especially while they’re still in style, delaying resale.”
