We have seen this coming. After we spotted Miley Cyrus clad in a Marc Jacobs fishnet dress at the 2013 Met Gala, posed nude for the designer’s supported charity, and posted selfie on her Twitter account wearing a Marc by Marc marriage equality shirt, Marc Jacobs choosing Miley as his new muse did seem inevitable. With Miley’s new androgynous, edgy, and provocative image, her partnership with Marc seemed like a match made in fashion heaven.
In the Spring 2014 campaign image, we see Miley clothed in an embellished navy jacket, burgundy shorts, and black and white sneakers against a dark, sandy beach backdrop. With her serious gaze, pouted lips, and disheveled hair, Miley certainly owns it!
