Protacio has a dark take on eveningwear.

Cebu-based designer Protacio is decidedly dark this year. His palette for his presentation at Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival 2018 is in various shades of midnight blues and grays, featuring mostly eveningwear albeit generally covered up. The show opened with a mock neck maxi dress with sleeves that grazed past the elbow. The models wore their hair with a side part, their eyes lined with dual flicks that add more drama to their looks.

The only look that almost crossed over the hubadera territory kept itself in line with the theme via a yellow belt-like choker. A standout from Protacio's collection, this pantsuit featured an exaggerated standing collar and a basque vest that showed off the wearer's curves.
