Imagine waking up one day and absolutely everything you ever wanted and needed for travelling is all in one jacket. Well, wake up, because that one day is now. The folks over at BauBax, a Chicago-based product design firm, created a jacket with a staggering 15 built-in features made to change the face of travelling, forever.
Jetsetters know that while jetting off to a new destination is fun, it is the transit that's often the conundrum. This genius invention that comes in four styles namely: a hoodie, a bomber, a windbreaker, and a blazer, is revolutionising the travel game with features such as a neck pillow, eye mask, earphone holders, gloves, and nine utility pockets that can fit your passport, mobile, and even items as big as your tablet. Our favorite would have to be hassle-free airport checking counter exerience.
It is now still gaining a following on Kickstarter (a company that helps startups get funds and essentially give life to their products) with now over 10,000 backers with pledges over 1.7 million dollar$$$. Basically, this means that the project will be funded and will see the day of light.
What does it mean for us? Well, early backers will get the jacket of their choice from $89 to $119, while the newer donors will pay up to $129, that's a little over P5000. Question is, how much will it cost us when it finally arrives in our shores or at least be available online?
Shipping begins this November 2015.
