Racecar Driver Designed These Gorgeous Dresses

Racecar Driver Designed These Gorgeous Dresses Wavy hems and sheer layers.

Perhaps as an appeal to *softness*, many car manufacturers have been aligning themselves with fashion: Rolls Royce, for one. Or even Chevrolet. This seems to be the same line of thinking behind Mazda's new promotions.  They've enlisted designer Mark Bumgarner - a Heart Evangelista favorite and, ehem, a pro racer - to create collections inspired by their KODO design philosophy ("A car isn't simply a mass of metal... more like a living creature," says the company literature).

Last night at the Shangri-la Mall atrium, Bumgarner unveiled M2—a beautiful limited edition collection that played with wavy hems and sheer layers. Soft and fluid, and not hard at all like how one would perceive an automobile's body. Caveat: It's available starting today on the Zalora website as well as in their pop-up store till August 2 (if you're the type who wants to fit). So step on it, as they say!
